2012 Barkin Dog Duathlon:
The Barkin’ Dog Duathlon celebrates it’s 14th anniversary in 2012! This is the first event in the popular Mile High Duathlon Series and has become a staple of the Colorado multisport race calendar. (Enter all three series races, and you will be entered into a drawing for a pair of Zipp race wheels valued at nearly $2,000). The race takes place in beautiful Cherry Creek State Park, and the bike ride crosses the Dam Road which is closed for the race! The race offers prize money for the top finishers, great post-race food, raffle prizes and a race tech shirt for all athletes. This race has sold out since 2007.

Directions:

From I-25 Take Exit 199 (Belleview) and turn East on Belleview.
Drive approximately 1.5 miles to Dayton (there is a stoplight).
Turn left on Dayton and drive approximately 0.5 miles.
The park entrance will be on your right.
