2012 Rockin R Toobing Triathlon:
This is the 4th annual and the 2nd race in the Alamo Tri Series.
The race also offers Bike/Run, Swim/Run and Swim/Bike
The Rockin R Toobin Triathlon will take place in the beautiful hill country area just northeast of San Antonio Texas.
The Rockin R Tubing Company offers discount Tubing and rafting trips.
They will transport you upriver and you can float back.

Swim:
The Triathlon swim features a 3 person time trial start 400 meter swim in the beautiful Guadalupe River.
This will most likely be a wetsuit legal race.
Bike:
After the swim you will be treated to a out and back 12 mile bike ride that will have sections crossing over the river and running next to the River.
Run:
The run is a 3.3 mile circular route that runs through the quaint little community of Gruene Texas.
After the race hang out at the river on tubes supplied by Rockin R Tubing Company

How to get there:
Gruene is a small community located within New Braunfels Texas located just 14 miles north of San Antonio Texas.
From IH35 take exit# 191 and head west on FM306.
After a couple of miles take a left on Hunter Road, look for the Gruene Community sign.
Hunter Road will dead end to Gruene Road, take a right and follow the road down the hill and over the River bridge.
The Rockin R Race Site is on your left after you cross the bridge.
