A sprint distance triathlon, consisting of a 800 meter swim in Tellico Lake, a 17-mile bike loop on Hwy. 72, & a 4-mile run starting and ending at the MasterCraft Boat Company in Vonore, TN.

Course Info:

Swim: A 800 meter fresh water swim in Tellico Lake. Projected water temp is 70-75. Wetsuits will be allowed per USAT rules. Swim will be started with ITU Under 23 athletes then age group waves every 3 minutes. - - - Bike: A 17 mile out and back course on Highway 72. The course is on rolling hills of Monroe and Loudon Counties.- - - Run Leg: Run course is on rolling roads of the Tellico Industrial Park. Aid stations will be placed every mile. - - -

Knoxville/Nashville: I-40 to I-75 South exit #81, Hwy. 321 N towards Maryville 5 mile to right on Hwy. 444 Tellico Parkway, 10 miles to Hwy. 72, left at stop sign approx. 4 miles to left into Tellico Industrial Park. Plant ½ mile on left.- - - Chattanooga: I-75 North to exit #72, right thru Loudon, approx. 11 miles to Tellico Industrial Park on left. - - -

Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top three male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65+ & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena. Relay Divisions: Male, Female, and Co-ed. The awards ceremony will be held at approximately 11:00 a.m. Food and drink will be available during wait. - - -
