2012 Carl Hart Mothers Day Youth Duathlon:

  • Event Power is happy to be able to provide kids the opportunity to participate in multi-sport events.
  • We emphasize the importance of participation; therefore all of the youths will receive a finisher medal.
  • We focus on staging a safe and fun event for the kids as well as the spectators.
  • Our goal is to expose young kids to multi-sport in an environment where they feel like a winner regardless of when they cross the finish line.
  • Join us in celebrating the potential of our youth!

    2012 Carl Hart Carl Hart Youth Duathlon Race Course:


    The Carl Hart Youth Duathlon is a great way to get started this season!.
  • The run is on grass.
  • The bike is on closed roads in the park. It is a great way to get involved in the sport and keep active.

    The youth event starts and finishes before the adult event.
  • Parents participating in the adult event should have their transition area setup and be ready to race before watching the youth event.
  • The adult event starts promptly.

    Ages 7-10:
  • 12 mile run, 2 mile bike, 12 mile run

    Ages 11-14:
  • 1 mile run, 2 mile bike, 12 mile run

    • Directions:


  • Hecksher Park is located at the end of the Heckscher State Parkway.
  • 50 miles from Manhattan.
  • On the south shore of Long Island.

  • There will also be an adult sprint duathlon.
  • Online registration will open on January 15th, 2012.
