2012 Billy the Kid Tombstone Triathlon:
This will be one of the most scenic triathlons in New Mexico.
Transition will be at the group shelter, near the main boat ramp parking area on the west side of the lake.

Course Info:

Sumner Lake State Park, near Fort Sumner, NM.
The swim will be 400 meters in the open water.
The 15 mile bike ride will be on the paved road around the lake, over the dam, to NM Highway 60, and back to the transition area.
The 3.1 mile (5K) run will start from the transition area at group shelter and then onto paved roads from the lake and out towards Puerto de Luna.
