1/4 Mile Swim (or 1 mile run for duathlon participants) 1/2 Mile (out & back) for Trilogy International The point to point swimming portion of the Key Biscayne Triathlon Trilogy will take place in Biscayne Bay next to the Marine Stadium. All participants must keep the buoys on their right at all times.
10 Mile Bike 20 Miles (2 laps) for Trilogy International The cycling portion of the Key Biscayne Triathlon Trilogy will take athletes from Marine Stadium west onto the Rickenbacker Causeway. This course is the favorite training ground of all local triathletes. Be ready to awe at the magnificence of Biscayne Bay as you ride through the causeway. All bike traffic will stay on the outbound lane of the causeway which will be closed to vehicular traffic. Vehicular traffic will be diverted to the inbound lane. Trilogy International participants will ride 2 laps on the bike for 20 miles total.
3.1 Mile Run 6.2 Miles (2 laps) for Trilogy International Athletes will run from bike transition into the Virginia Key Pathway. The finish line is near the transition. Trilogy International participants will run 2 laps, for a total of 6.2 miles.

Swim Course: The Swim Course will close at 8:10 a.m.
Bike Course: No participants is allowed to start a bike loop after 8:15 a.m. If you complete your first loop after this time, then you will be required to return to transition. You may continue in the race but will be disqualified for not completing the entire course. Everyone must be complete and off the bike course by 8:50 a.m. or you will be picked up. The causeway must be re-opened in a timely fashion in order for us to meet our permit requirements.
Run Course: International Distance athletes must be in their second loop of the run no later than 9:40 a.m., the Run Course will close at 10:20 a.m.
These cutoff times are very generous and based upon our first race 99.5% of participants will make these cutoffs. If you don't think you can make the cutoffs, you can try and see or do the Sprint Distance instead.

Directions:

From the North - I-95 south, exit #1 (Rickenbacker Causeway), head east towards Key Biscayne on the Rickenbacker Causeway until you reach Hobie Beach right after the famous William Powel Bridge on the left hand side, you will see race signage. From the South - Travel north on US1 (S Dixie Highway) to the Rickenbacker Causeway entrance. Head east towards Key Biscayne on the Rickenbacker Causeway until you reach Hobie Beach right after the famous William Powel Bridge on the left hand side.
