2012 Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island:

  • 2012 will mark the 5th running of the Amica Ironman 70.3 Rhode Island.
  • Providence provides a scenic backdrop for a fun and challenging course through the a majority of the State of Rhode Island and it's capital city.

    • Course Information:


  • The 1.2 mile swim is held at Lincoln Woods in Lincoln, RI. This state park is located about 10 minutes north of Providence and the finish line.
  • From there the 56 mile bike takes athletes into the western part of the state on quiet, rolling roads before returning to the City of Providence.
  • Transitioning to the run at the State House, athletes will then complete the 13.1 mile run the 2 loop course through the streets of Providence.
  • The finish line is located directly in front of the State House.

  • Athlete check-in will be Friday July 6 from 12pm to 6pm and Saturday July 7 from 9am - 5pm.  
  • Athlete check-in is located at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Downtown Providence.  1 Sabin St, Providence 02903.
