    • Course Information:


  • While the course is 11 miles, roughly 20% of it is fast with no extended climbs.
  • The bike course starts out with a fast mile on pavement, giving plenty of time to acclimate the legs to the bike.
  • Riders will then enter a doubletrack section of trail around the lake where they can maintain their speed though the woods.
  • Next comes the dam crossing where there are good spots for passing until the course turns on to narrow singletrack.
  • The only climbing is at the end where riders will go up Johnson s Mountain and continue up a 12 mile paved climb to ride down fast singletrack with a few small rock drops before returning to the transition/finish area on a paved road.
