Come join us for the inaugural Race Omaha Duathlon. This event has a lot to offer in term of quality and fun for every participant. This early season race should be the first race of the year to measure your winter training. It should offer perfect temperatures, clear visibility of the country side and a festive atmosphere after the Race.
Memphis State Recreation Area - is located near the town of Memphis, Nebraska. This is half way between Omaha and Lincoln.
Race Omaha Duathlon - Offering an Individual race and Team Relay.
Individual and Team Distances are the same: 2.5 Mile Run, 15 Mile Bike, 2.5 Mile Run.
Run Course
The Run Course is an out-and-back route. All athletes will start from Memphis State Recreation Area and run through the park onto Country Road D. Continue on the soft gravel road to the turn around and then back to the Transition Area.
Bike Course
The Bike Course is an out-and-back route. All athletes will transition and exit Memphis State recreation area, riding through the town of Memphis (approximately 1 mile) and head out on Country Road 7 for the next 12 miles.
Both the Run and Bike Course will be the flattest and the fastest course you will ever race. If you don't post fast splits, you are not trying. You will be able to see for miles during the race unless there is still corn in the fields. Having an early season race like this will make your winter training worth the effort!

No refund or transfers are given for any reason. Considerable effort goes into producing such an event and funds are expended early in the process to create this race. Thank you for understanding this policy.
Who we are
Race Omaha provides multi-sport events for Women, Adults and Kids in the state of Nebraska. We promote a healthy and active lifestyle for youth and adults one event at a time.
** Preliminary Schedule of Events **
Memphis State Recreation Area – is a state park that requires some type of access permit that uses an envelope system; Day Permit $5, Tent Site $7, Camping Pad $9 or Annual $25. There are primitive camping sites and bathrooms available.
Friday Night – Camp at Memphis Lake and join the Race Omaha team for complimentary S’mores, hotdogs and some cold beverages/hot chocolate.
Saturday Morning – Arrive early and place your bike in the Transition Area.
7:30 - 8:45 - Transition Area is open
8:50 - Race Briefing for all Athletes
9:00 - Race Starts
11:30ish – Awards for top Male and Female. Stay around for giveaways!
