Welcome to the XTERRA Dread Mon Triathlon! Heros Inc is proud to bring you yet another game changing event. On July 21^st 2012 the inaugural XTERRA Dread Mon will take place at the Damsite Recreation Area in Truth or Consequences, NM. The course will include an 880 yard swim, 13.92 mile bike ride, and a 3.26 mile run through 100 years of DamSite history; an epic and very challenging course.

The DamSite is an unbelievable venue that offers some very unique and exiting racing. Built close to 100 years ago the area is full of amazing architecture, fabulous stone work & views that never end. The restaurant & bar will be open on race day; with LIVE music on the patio overlooking the lake & marina after the race.

Packet Pickup will take place from 5pm 7pm on Fri July 20^th at the Bedroxx Bowling Center in the Leopard Lounge 165 E 9^th Ave., Truth or Consequences, NM. Packet Pickup will resume at 5:30 am on race morning and close at 6:30 am. The race will start at 7:00 am.

The XTERRA Dread Mon will be part of the New Mexico Open Water Tri Series.

The XTERRA Dread Mon wil also be part of another first for New Mexico. It will be part of a Double ala the Deuceman in Showlow, AZ. The XTERRA Dread Mon will be the first half of the Double; followed by the 3^rd Annual Dam It Man Sprint Triathlon that will be held on Sunday morning July 22^nd at 7 am. The best combined male and female overall times in both races will be crowned the Big Kahuna and Bitchin Betty of the tri weekend!
