This was my first sprint Tri. It was such a blast. Definitly doable on a mountain bike but I was wishing for one of those rockets you people pedal! I will definitly do this again.

Overall challenging race!
Pros: Pre race meal the night before was unexpected and a plus for an out of towner like me. Saved me from eating at a restuarant! Great post race food! Lots of variety in food and drink. Loved the ice cold washclothes that were being handed out!
Cons: A cotton race t-shirt was a dissapointment. Save the cotton shirts for 5ks. I believe we all worked hard enough to receive a TECH shirt. Would be willing to pay slightly higher entrance fee for nicer shirt. Please find a method to enforce swimmers to line up by race number. Nobody was monitoring this. There were multiple people out of order and faster swimmers were mowing down slower swimmers. Volunteers at the track portion of the run instructed some runners to run two times around the track either both ways or at least one way. I heard multiple people complaining about volunteers not giving clear directions in this area.
