New to Time Trialing or wanting to enhance your TT skills? Wenzel Coach David Hart will teach and discuss various aspects of completing a time trial. All abilities of riders welcome. Join him for hands-on This is the course for the Jack Frost TT on February 26th. This is also the same venue as the weekly Vancouver Bicycle Club Time Trial which starts in the spring.
Just a few of the topics that will be covered:
o Time Trial equipment
o Clothing
o Warm-up
o Starting & finishing
o Heart rate monitors (and power)
o Cornering
o Position on bike
o Cadence
o Pre race nutrition
o and, of course, your questions and concerns
Clinic notes: Discussion will happen prior to riding out to do the course and then after. Plan on about 2 hours total. Dress accordingly as we will be standing around at times. There will be a tent if it is raining. Bring enough food/water. We will ride the full time trial course (12 miles) so those who haven’t done the course before will know it for race day. I will be riding with you to give tips and other helpful advice and feedback.

Jack Frost TT course. Lower River Rd which is off 4th Plain Rd outside of downtown Vancouver. Out and back, low traffic, nice pavement. At times it can be windy! The course is 12 miles, if you ride to the turn-around, it will be about 15 miles total from Esther Short Park.

Esther Short Park 301 W 8th, across from Starbucks.
I-5 going north exit 1B Downtown/City Center Left onto 8th, go one block, the park is on the left
I-5 south
Exit Mill Plain & take left onto 15th (one way west) Turn left onto Columbia and right on 8th.

If you are not an OBRA member, you can print off the Wenzel release and bring exact change or check for $25. Please email me to let me know you want to be in the clinic so I can put you down for attending.
