About the 6th Annual TDD Triathlon
The TDD Triathlon is a memorial race for Tyrus, Dante, and Daniel, triplet sons of local racers, and a fundraiser for the UMass Memorial Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Worcester, MA.
The Douglas race venue is absolutely beautiful with a nice beach, picnic area, and grills. Come to race; stay to relax.
Described by a number of participants as their favorite triathlon ever!

The Race Course
The transition area is in a wide field next to the lake.
The swim is a 1/4 mile clockwise triangle in a placid lake. Swim angels are available for anyone who would like an experienced triathlete to accompany him/her during the swim.
Athletes enter transition through the rear entrance of the transition area from the swim.
The bike course is a single loop that meanders the country roads of rustic Douglas. Cyclists leave transition through the front exit of the transition area and ride up Wallum Lake Park Road.
The run course is an out and back route. Runners use the access road to connect with Wallum Lake Park Road near the parking area. At the top of the hill on Wallum Park Road, runners bear left, and eventually hit the turnaround. Then it's back down Wallum Lake Road to Wallum Lake Park Road, onto the access road and under the FIRM finish line banner.

Fun for the Whole Family
Children's entertainer, Mr Kim Webster, will be there with his puppets, guitar and a whole bunch of energy to entertain the kids and the young at heart during the race. Stop by the Inspiration Station to make a sign for your favorite athletes or grab some chalk to write your messages on Wallum Park Road. There will be plenty of food, fun, and music at this special event.
