2012 Trifesta Sprint Triathlon:
Great event for first time triathletes, however, usually a very fast field if you are looking for a challenge. Course record for Males is just over 58 minutes, while the course record for the ladies is just over 1 hour and 2 minutes. Located on the beautiful campus of John A. Logan College the race is in its 6th year. Last year we had 110 competitors.
If that wasn't enoough the event is tied to a large multiple day event called Herrinfesta Italiana. The event features live bands, a carnival, activities for all ages. Bring the family and stay a couple of days and run a 10k on Monday. Check out all events at www.herrinfestaitaliana.com
Trophies three deep in five year age groups as well as clydesdale and athena.

1/4 mile serpentine pool swim.
VERY flat and fast 14 mile bike course (all on primary roads).
And a VERY flat and fast 3.1 mile run on very low traffic roads.
