2012 TriUtah Woman of Steel Triathlon & 5K:
The Woman of Steel Triathlon was recognized by Active.com as the Best Sprint Triathlon for 2011!
The Woman of Steel Triathlon and 5K is also Utah’s first and most popular all-women’s triathlon and 5K run.
Don’t miss this one of a kind sprint pool triathlon at the American Fork Fitness Center in American Fork, Utah.
Awards are presented to overall finishers as well as the top 3 in each age group, but that’s not all.
Every participant is a winner in this event where all women receive a woman’s specific technical race shirt, commemorative finisher necklace and chocolate at the finish line!

Course Info:

Swim: 300 meters
Every 12 seconds two participants will enter the water in the outside lanes.
The participants will then complete one lap (2 lengths of the pool) in the first lane, and then continue in the next adjacent lane, for a total of 6 lengths (300 meters) and finish in the center of the pool.
Bike: 12.4 miles
The bike course will consist of a two-loop course utilizing road shoulders and will be open to vehicle traffic.
After you complete the first loop of the bike course, you will continue to do a second loop of the same course. Participants will NOT be allowed to ride two or three abreast and may be disqualified by USA Triathlon officials for doing so.
Run: 3 miles
The run course will consist of a single 3-mile loop course utilizing paved city streets or sidewalks.

This award will go to amazing women who face life’s difficult challenges and situations with a positive approach and use physical fitness and training to help overcome difficult circumstances.
Online registration fills within hours and will again be limited to 1000 athletes in the triathlon so don’t miss out!
