2012 Mighty Magnolia Triathlon:Beginner friendly race, but challenging for veterans. Time-trial start. Cool, spring-fed lake. Unique, one-of-a-kind awards (Custom-made Mississippi ceramic pottery!). LOTS of fun, food, Southern Hospitality, raffle prizes and great racing.

Race is computer-chip timed. Swim is flat with a time-trial start. Rectangular course wiih buoys and lifeguards. Run to Transition Area is carpeted. Bike is rolling hills with some shaded roads and minimal traffic. Run is rolling hills with little shade. Transition area is carpeted. Fluids at Transition Area and Mile 1 and Mile 2 on the Run. Pizza, fruit, cookies, Cokes, PowerAde, and Smoothie King at the Finish. Post-race massage tent.

Hattiesburg lies at the crossroads of Interstate 59 and Highway 49 in southeast Mississippi
I-59 to Hattiesburg. Take the exit for Hwy 98 West. Travel approx. 12 miles. Chevron station is on your right. Go 1/2 mile past and turn left onto Purvis-Oloh Rd. Travel 2.5 miles, and HERITAGE is on your left. Follow the signs! Race site opens at 6am and closes at 7:30 on race day.
