Free Bicycle Drawing1All participants are automatically entered in a
drawing for a free bicycle courtesy of Bike America, in Lee's Summit,
Overland Park, and Olathe. Go to Bike America for all your triathlon
gear.Distances2Tri for Tots: 25 yard kiddie pool walk/swim, .75 mile
bike, .25 mile run. Ages 6-10 100 yard pool swim, 3 mile bike, and 1
mile run. Ages 11-14: 200 meter pool swim, 5 mile bike, and 1.5 mile
run. Teen Elite: 300 meter pool swim, 6.5 mile bike, 2.2 mile run.Tri
for Tots3This year we welcome kids 4 and 5 to our Tri for Tots™
Triathlon Division. Now everyone can get into the action with a 25 yard
kiddie pool swim, a .75 mile bike, and .25 run. This will be a
non-competitive event with relaxed rules. Floats, water wings,
tricycles, training wheels, and parents on the course for this portion
of the event are all legal! The entry fee for the Tri Tots Division is
$20.50.Teen Elite Division4This year we will once again have our Elite
Teen Division, for youth ages 15 to 17. Race with the best and be the
best!Register the Entire Family5Families who enter three or more
siblings in the Individual Division receive a 50% entry fee discount on
the third, fourth or fifth child entered.Awards & Age Groups6Tri for
Tots: ages 4 & 5. Individual: 8 and Under(short course);
9-10(short course); 11-12 (long course); 13-14(long course). Teen Elites
15-17. Relay (team members ages totaled) 24 and under(short course) 25
and up (long course). NOTE: Pursuant to USA Triathlon Rules the age of
an athlete is his or her age on December 31 of the year of the event.USA
Triathlon (Important)7This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All
youth participants must be a member of USAT. Annual membership is $5 per
year and must be purchased in advance of the race. A major benefit for
parents is that they will not be required to attend every race
registration to sign their child's USAT waiver. With the ONE TIME
payment, youth triathletes will be eligible to compete in ALL triathlons

purchase a youth membership online.TRiKIDS Midwest Series8Double your
fun, be part of the TRiKIDS Midwest Series. Participate in the both the
Longview Jr. Triathlon and the JCC Youth Triathlon and earn points based
on your finish time to be a TRiKIDS Midwest Series winner. group. The
overall male and female will winner in the 10 and under, 11-41, and Teen
Elite divisions will win a special trophy and the title of Best TRiKID
in the Midwest. The TRiKIDS Points Series Awards will be announced after
July 29.Chip Timing9The JCC KIDS TRIATHLON will have chip timing.Packet
Pickup and Race Orientation10Participants and parents are required to
attend one of two pre-race orientation sessions:
Tuesday, June 21, 7:00 p.m.
OR
Thursday, June 23, 7:00 p.m.
Both orientation sessions will be held at the Jewish Community Center.
At each session, participants will receive a participant packet, event
T-shirt, course information, and tips on various aspects of the event.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR HELMET WITH PROOF OF ANSI OR SNELL CERTIFICATION TO
THE ORIENTATION.
