Join us on June 2nd for the 2nd Annual EACC Wilderness Challenge/Triathlon! This course will run through the countryside, down the Cape Fear River and into Downtown Erwin. The event will be followed by good food, drink, entertainment for the family and awards. All proceeds are used to support our local Airmen at Pope Air Field to attend & compete in an “Airman’s Rodeo” to be held this summer in Washington State. The cost is not covered by the military for them to go to
the Rodeo to compete.
AWARDS:
Medals to be given to the First, Second & Third place participants.
ENTRY FEES:
$30 registration, mailed by May 27th. Fee includes T-shirt and food for all entrants.

Course Info:

The 1 phase of the course begins with a 7 mile bicycle ride through the countryside to a Wildlife Landing. Phase 2 will begin at the landing with an 8 mile Kayaking trip down the Cape Fear River to the Cape Fear
River Park in Erwin. The 3rd & final phase will be a 3 mile run through Erwin to connect to the Dunn-Erwin Rail Trail & will end at the Gazebo in Downtown Erwin. A map of the course can be accessed at www.erwin-nc.org.
