For the 28th year the University of Tennessee Student Aquatic Center will host the ever popular TriDeltathon mini triathlon. One of the oldest triathlons in the south, and the first pool triathlon in the country, the TriDeltathon features a 400 meter pool swim, 6 mile (two 3 mile laps) campus ride, and a 3 mile run. With proceeds going to East TN Children's Hospital and the girls of Delta Delta Delta lining the course shouting encouragement, the TriDeltathon annually draws 400 plus participants. Excellent beginner race.

Pool swim, time trial start. Bike course is two 3 mile laps--not too hilly, but plenty of twists and turns. Run is a rolling tour of campus, passing Neyland Stadium and Thompson Boling Arena--two water stops.
