2012 Lakewood Valley Triathlon:
The event benefits the Owensboro Family YMCA assistance fund.
This sprint distance event features a private course on groomed grounds in the Lakewood Development just 18 miles from Owensboro.
Large warm (ave temp 80) lake for the swim, rolling country hills for the bike, finishing with the most scenic 3 mile run wrapping around the lake through open and wooded terrain.

Large man-made lake, used for sailing, water skiing and of course fishing and swimming.
Bike route uses quaint coutry roads with rolling hills.
Run wraps around the georgeous 1 mile long lake, using a combination of gravel and paved paths.

Owensboro Family YMCA is the site for pre-race packet pick up AND entry: 900 Kentukcy Parkway.

Race venue is located in Whitesville, KY (18 miles east of Owensboro). Off of Highway 54.
