The Road and River Relay is an exciting non-traditional relay triathlon in and around Waynesboro. It features a fast 5K run, a downriver course with flowing water and mild rapids (class I), and a scenic bike leg on rolling terrain.

Course Info:

Running: 3.1 miles on surface streets & grass (just over 1 mile on grass). Paddle (kayak or canoe) - South River from Main Street to Hopeman Pkwy - flowing water, minor rapids, some spots can be rocky. Bike - Rolling hills make this course challenging. 11.5 mile out-and-back with great mountain views.

Directions:
|
Take the Waynesboro/Lyndhurst exit off of I-64, head into Waynesboro and turn left on Main Street. Cross the river and take the second left, which is Arch Ave.. Drive one block to the Salvation Army offices on the left. You may park in the City parking lot across the street.
