2012 Hoosier Fit 1K Walk & 5K-10K Run:
Join Grand Marshall (and former "The Biggest Loser" contestant) Tara Costa for the USA Track & Field Sanctioned Hoosier Fit 1K Walk/5K-10K Run. The run will begin on Saturday morning, May 26th. Start time is 8:00am at the Showalter Fountain in front of the IU Auditorium. Individuals and teams are welcome to participate. Entry fees are $15 for the 1K walk, $25 for the 5K 10K run, and teams can register for $35. A portion of each entry fee will be donated to a local MS charity.

Course Info:

Starts at Showater Fountain, located in front of IU Auditorium in Bloomington, Indiana. Race route will be controlled by IUPD/Bloomington Police Department. The course is comparable to many other routes in Indiana - It is level and primarily on roads.

Showalter Fountain by the IU Auditorium is located at the end of 7th street past the IMU.

This is only a portion of the Hoosier Fit Expo that will be taking place over Memorial Weekend in Bloomington, Indiana. Other events include a Cross-Fit Challenge, break out fitness sessions, a blood drive, competitive body building and physique events, and kids fitness. -
