Terrapin Adventures is teaming up with Playworks DC to put together a 5K mud run to help raise money to bring recess to schools in the D.C. area. The Terrapin and the Hare Mud Run is a fun, high intensity, obstacle course run through the woods of Savage, Maryland. Starting at Terrapin Adventures, the Terrapin and the Hare will include 5 Kilometers of tough terrain and will contain obstacles such as, climbing walls, tires, webs, and, of course, mud. This race is not for the weak of heart. If you like a challenge and some food topped off with a beer from the Rams Head Tavern at the finish, then the Terrapin and the Hare is the race for you. Come run, jump, climb and get muddy for recess on May 6.
