2009 Salty Dog Triathlon:
Take part in this fun fitness competition -- a favorite for many! But sign up early...registration is limited to the first 225 participants.
Participants start the race with a swim inside beautiful Salt City Splash Aquatic Center, then bike around Carey Park Golf Course, and finish the event with a 3.1-mile run along the Jim Martinez trail.

Kids, get ready for the 3rd annual Salty Pup Triathlon.
This fun event is geared for youth ages 15 and under.
Sign up early - registration for the Salty Pup is limited to the first 40 participants.

Entire event takes place in beautiful Carey Park:
400 meter pool swim
Bike is a flat lap course
Run is also a flat course taking participants around the Sunflower Trail in Carey Park
Salty Dog (adults): 400 meter swim; 10.5-mile bike; 3.1-mile run
Salty Pup (kids): 100-meter swim; 4.2-mile bike; 1-mile run
2009 Salty Pup Course Information:
The Salty Pup Triathlon will begin once the last Salty Dog swimmer has entered the pool.
Swimmers start in Salt City Splash Aquatic Center
They then venture out to bike around the Carey Park Golf Course
Finish with a specialized out and back loop for the run near the Jim Martinez trail.

Enter Carey Park from South Main in Hutchinson or access the park from Blanchard Street which connects to K-61 Hwy near intersection of US 50 & K-61.
