Prizes will be awarded to top three in each category--Co-Ed, all Female, and all Male--with the best prizes going to the Co-Ed division.

GEAR REQUIREMENTS
for S.O.N.A.R. night race

Each bike must have a rear blinking light and each teammate must have a hands free form of lighting (ie headlamp etc.). Suggested gear includes extra batteries, a supplemental source of light, and a front light for the bike.

Course Info:

This race is the first in our four race series and will include trail running (2-4 miles), mountain biking (6-8 miles), simple navigation, and team building tests of skill provided by Nemacolin. This race starts at 6:30 pm and will have some portion run in darkness. Illumination is necessary. Check website for source for gear requirements. Teams are comprised of two members (any sex). We anticipate this race to be 2-3 hours long.

This race will begin with a prologue that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Prologue is scheduled to take place between 4:00-5:00 pm. Details and individual prologue starting times will be released to registered racers by April 14th.
