2009 Minnetonka Youth Triathlon:
Join us for the 5th annual Youth Triathlon on Saturday, May 2.
This years event takes place at Minnetonka Middle School West (MMW) located at 5421 Hazeltine/Hwy. 41, Excelsior, MN.
Join us for a great day of fun, food, prizes, and sport!
Open to all youth in grades 2 through 8.
Participants will receive a T-shirt and treats.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each division.
The swim course is in the MMW pool.
The bike course is on neighboring streets.
The run course is on the track behind MMW. (All types of bikes are welcome; participants must provide their own helmets.)
Course Information:
Athletes swim in the MMW pool, bike on neighboring streets, and run on the MMW track.
Order of events are:
Grades:
2nd-3rd: swim 50 yds, bike 1 mile, run ½ mile
4th-5th: bike 2 miles, run 1 mile, swim 75 yds
6th-8th: swim 100 yds, bike 2 miles, run 1½ mi
