Course Info: 2009 Foy's to Herron Paddlethon:
  • The race starts with a point to point paddle on beautiful Foy's Lake.
  • From there, you will jump on your mountain bike and ride to Herron Park, where you will ride on a mix of logging roads and single track. The course features several miles of climbing and not too technical single track descents. You'll ride down to the parking lot @ Herron.
  • From there the run goes out on to Foy's Canyon Rd. for ½ mile, and then takes off on a trail that climbs up for a bit, then rolls back down to a gravel road, where you will finish back at Herron Park.
  • Directions: Directions to Foy's Lake:
  • Hwy. 93 north to Kalispell, continue north around courthouse (Main St.), turn left on 4th St. West (2nd light past courthouse), continue west app. 12 blocks to S.Meridian, turn left and follow signs to Lone Pine State Park.
  • Continue past Lone Pine turnoff app. ¼ mile to Foy's Lake parking lot.

  • Race is open to teams or soloists.
  • PFD must be worn on the water.
  • Helmets must be worn on the bike.
  • 18 years and older only.
  • Paddlers will need a support person or team member to rack their boat and shuttle up to Herron Park (½ mile)
