This is a beginner triathlon held at one of Montanas only 50 yard outdoor pools.
The Harvest Thunder is in it's third year and has grown in poularity due to the great pool, wonderful bike course along the Missouri River and our run in the shade at Gibson Park.
This is a chip timed event and teams and kids are welcomed with open arms.
If you are fast, we have fast. If you are a 1st time Triathlete we will help you get through your first event with a pleasurable experience.
Many Iron athletes started at a race like this one.
Come have fun and catch the excitement called "Triathlon"

Sprint Triathlon:
Swim takes place in a 50 meter outdoor pool.
Bike follows the missouri River south out and back. Simply beautiful!
Run follows the Missouri River north and makes 1.5 loops in side beautiful Gibson park. You will be running on a asphalt path that is mostly shaded.
- - - Kids Triathlon: (kids distances) swim 50 or 100 meters(depending on age), Bike 3 miles, Run 1 miles.
Kids course is all within eye shot of the Electric City Water Park.
Parents can view there children race with much ease and comfort by walking one block to the Rivers Edge Trail.
