2013 St. John Indoor Triathlon:
All participants must check in 45 minutes prior to start time.
Heat times are set by triathlon committee and are not subject to change by request.

The pool 25 yards in length and has four lanes.
All swimmers will share a lane; two per lane, eight racers per heat.
Heats will start every 25 minutes, and swimmers will be grouped by swim time.
Each swimmer will have an assigned lap counting volunteer.
After completing the required laps, racers will be directed towards the transition area located on the second floor.
All racers will have the opportunity to set-up in the transition area and set-up their bike prior to the start of their heat if time allows.
Racers may enter the transition area or bike area only when instructed to do so by the transition captain (As to not interfere with athletes currently competing in any way).
All racers must use the transition area.
Failure to comply with this rule will results in disqualification.
Spin bikes will be used for the second leg of the race.
A volunteer will be assigned to all racers to help track mileage and provide general assistance.
Racers will be directed to the track once the required miles have been completed.
The track has three lanes and is slightly banked in the corners.
Faster paced runners should use the inside lane, and the more outside lanes should be used for slower paced runners and walkers.
