Moving into its sixth season, the South Carolina Half has become one of the most hotly contested events in the South Carolina Triathlon Series.

Course Information:

  • The one loop 1.2 mile swim is counter clockwise. With athletes entering the water via a large stone walkway just beneath the finish line behind the Drummond Center.
  • The 56 mile bike is also a one loop course with moderate and gradual climbs. This course is by no means flat but it is not an extremely hilly one either.
  • The 13.1 mile run is a 2 loop out and back course. Starting in the Transition Area athletes encounter mainly flat to lightly rolling hills on the way to the turn around loop. The entire course is completely paved.
