The VR Indoor Triathlon sponsored by Summa is an indoor triathlon where each participant will first swim in a 25 meter lap pool, then bike on a Kaiser M30 (cycling) bike and finally run on a treadmill. Each of these activities will be for a specific time and the individual performance will ranked against other people in their division. Total time for the triathlon will be 70 minutes (10 minute swim, 25 minute bike, and 20 minute run, with a total of 15 minutes of transition time to allow safe movement between activities).
Separate divisions are available for first time triathletes. This allows an open atmosphere for those who are ready to give it a go in their first or allowing "veterans" to go at it against their competitors.
The indoor triathlon will start in waves. Participants will receive a starting time approximately 1 week prior to event by e-mail. This will allow competitors to arrive prior to their start time to warm-up and eliminate the need to arrive un-necessarily early. Wave times will start from 7:30 AM and run through 12:30 PM as latest time.

All of the disciplines will be done indoors at Summa Wellness Institute.
The swim is in the dedicated lap pool, biking in their cycling lab, and running on treadmills.

Summa can be accessed from State Route 91 (Darrow Road) and from State Route 8.
Entrances exist from both Darrow Road as well as Hudson Drive.
