Through mud, water, fire, and sweat, the only question on your mind will be "Can I Conquer the Cove?!"

Prepare to experience a revolutionary test of endurance, adaptability, and spirit in the first annual Eagle Cove Quest! Designed by CrossFit experts, The Quest takes runners on a 5 mile run over an extensive set of demanding manmade and natural obstacles positioned throughout the sprawling Camp Thunder compound in Molena, GA.

Course Information:


Set on a sprawling 2,400 acre facility, The Eagle Cove Quest will take runners over a series of punishing obstacles through a rugged terrain of hills, trails, and water hazards. Designed by CrossFit experts, Travis and Mindy Self, The Quest features a huge assortment of obstacles including the Eagle's Nest, Wall Climbs, Spear Throws, and of course Mud Pits. Envisioned as a test of will and endurance, The Quest is challenging enough for the most rugged of athletes, while being forgiving enough for the beginner racers. Through mud, water, fire, and sweat, the only question on your mind will be "Can I Conquer the Cove?!"

Some examples of the obstacles:

Eagles Nest - athletes will balance on a rope while holding onto another rope crossing over a mud pit

Eagles Launch -a ramp at a 45 degree angle roughly 15' in length where you attempt to jump over a mud pit.

Mud pit - here athletes will have to crawl on there stomachs going over and under log hurdles

Rope climb while holding an egg in your mouth

Stump March
